AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2024: The All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) invites online applications for AICTE Swanath Scholarship for students through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Interested and eligible students can apply online on the NSP Portal i.e. scholarships.gov.in.
AICTE – Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Diploma/Degree) 2023-24 is an initiative of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a technical degree or diploma from recognized institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2024, an applicant must:
- be an Indian national
- be a COVID-19 impacted ward i.e., either or both parents died due to COVID-19 OR
- be a ward of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
- be enrolled in a course at degree/diploma level in regular mode (in 1st/2nd/3rd/4th year) at an AICTE-approved institution
- be not be a recipient of any of the central/state government/AICTE-sponsored scholarship
- have a family income of less than ₹8,00,000 per annum
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive ₹50,000 per annum for every year of study as a lump sum amount towards payment of college fees, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software, etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges, and medical charges, etc.

Bonafide certificate issued by the institution
Class 12 or equivalent marksheet
Class 10 marksheet
Caste/category certificate (if applicable)
Current year income certificate issued by the competent authority [For wards of armed forces and central paramilitary forces martyred in action (shaheed)]
Death certificate of father/mother or both explicitly mentioning that the death was due to COVID-19 [For candidates whose either or both parent(s) died due to COVID-19]
Death certificates of both father and mother (if available) [For orphan candidates].

Application Process:
Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now‘ link below.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to ‘Applicant Corner ‘ and click on ‘New Registration‘ tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on ‘Save & Register‘ to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the ‘Fresh Application‘ tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.
Note:- All the applicants are advised to fill out the form correctly; no changes can be made once it is submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill out only one application, as multiple applications will cancel the form.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be done purely on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination which is –
Class 12 marks, in case of a degree course, and
Class 10 marks, in case of a Diploma course
